OK, so this post seems to have vanished when I tried to upload it yesterday so I'll try again.

The ten things I would like for Solstice/Yule/Hogmanay meme

1. Stuff from my Amazon wishlist (which of course you don't have to get from Amazon, especially the out-of-print stuff...)
   
2. A digital camera with optical zoom
   
3. About 11 balls of Rowan chunky chenille in aubergine, or similar quality yarn I can knit for myself with
   
4. People to lend me DVDs such as Stargate Season 6 onward, Kill Bill 1&2, Matrix 2&3, Hitchhikers, CSI season 2 onward, Lost etc
   
5. A decent quality small compass
   
6. A maglite, not the very littlest sort
   
7. More bamboo knitting needles and/or a decent way to store all my knitting needles
   
8. Good tequila. Actually any and all tequila is good, but posh stuff from Lupe Pintos especially so
   
9. People to drive me to nice places in the country next year
   
10. Mix CDs are always good
    

I now have a wish list. The process of making it has made me even more greedy than before, so I'd better get some things from it, or I'll cry (or just buy them for myself, which is more likely). I will no doubt be adding things to it, and of course some of the stuff I always want is hard to buy online, but don't let that stop you...

I now have an amazon.co.uk wish list which has the advantage of earlier delivery than my amazon.com one, and a much wider range of stuff that I want - just on the off chance, you understand...
