I feel incredibly virtuous. Not only am I sticking to my diet, but I went for a two mile walk in my lunch hour (and bought some flavoured coffee, which may help suppress the urge to go to Starbucks for calorific syrupy lattes).
While out I did a market research questionnaire about a new Lucozade product called Be, which is essentially glucose and guarana and ginseng. They are selling on the grounds that it 'feeds your brain' and makes you more alert at work, because 'research has shown' that glucose feeds the mind as well as the body. Well no shit!
Still, I did enjoy giving my rude comments to the interviewer ('anti-scientific' was one of the nicer words I used about the advert they showed me). The interviewer liked it too, he said he enjoyed writing down comments that the client was going to hate. Very unprofessional, but I always enjoy meeting real human beings where you don't expect to find them.
Otherwise, I'm still listening to music in my darkened office, still doing very little actual work, but it's poets day, so I'm happy.
