Gosh I have 28 virtual pints! That means I have implicit permission to get utterly slaughtered. And that the next round of virtual pints is on me...
I did get pretty drunk last night, actually, on half-price cocktails, which is good because if I'd drunk that much in beer I would have been weeping into it. But I didn't, so that's OK.
So, good things:

So, good things:
- My boiler is fixed! Callooh! Callay! Hot water and heat are mine - and all because I am so great and Did It
- I booked the dentist, too, even though I really didn't want to
- My desk is tidy for the weekend
- I watched A Zed and Two Noughts. It is indeed most odd. Me and
sibelian agreed that any Peter Greenaway film would make a good Sapphire and Steel episode and vice versa - which saves us thinking up new ones of either...
- Nearly finished my chenille cardigan - only one arm to sew on now - gods I hate making up
- The Beltane blether meeting on Tuesday was actually quite good. I have some hope that things will come out of it
- Friday!
- Amsterdam! Soon!

My Dad recommended that to me a while ago. I have yet to see it though.

I don't know if this is the same for you, but personally I find that actually ringing up and making the appointment seems to cause me as much stress or more as going to the doctor or dentist. There's something about making appointments over the phone, perhaps especially for things like that but I have it with some other kinds of arrangements-over-the-phone as well, like calling in the plumber or ringing shops. I'm a lot "better" with phoning people than I used to be, but it's still a "thing"... (though phoning friends is completely different).
