Lisa rocks my socks in a more traditional way, using the mead fueled sock rocker perfected by Orkney crofters in the eighteenth century (I believe she got it on Ebay). This rocker works equally well when powered by a small car engine, and can be operated far from any habitation and well out of mobile range as well as over coffee and chocolate in an urban environment. The socks will be gently refreshed and relaxed, but not so relaxed that they no longer fit and fall down. Thanks to Lisa's adaptations the crofter's sock rocker has now been brought thoroughly into the twenty first century, and can now be fitted with an iPod (preferably playing Suzanne Vega).
