I didn't know Neil Gaiman had written a Matrix Story. Cool.

When I get home I'll have to tell you about American Gods...

You can tell he hadn't actually seen the final film when he wrote that, as it was written before that was released. Nice story though, but doesn't quite fit in with how the Matrix works.
