I just found one of my friend on Live Journal by typing names into the search field until I find someone I know. Admittedly he hasn't posted anything yet, but I added him to my friends list anyway...

Which made me think. Who would we like to evangelise about LJ to (if anyone)? I personally would love to see Graeme from Cambridge here (though there is a melonfarmer already who's not him, and some of my friends from Edinburgh, and Zbysh who's in (I think) Germany these days, and Ian W (why isn't he here, I wonder), and Neil H from the Wilds of Yorkshire, and Jo and Rachel and...

Of course, if this happened, my friends page would get *way* overloaded, so maybe we should keep it to ourselves. What do you all think?

I'll give it my full consideration. I'm probably
spending too much time staring at screens already,
but it's certainly tempting. I don't usually have
much dramatic to say (last week's event
notwithstanding), but then other people manage to
make their ordinary lives interesting, so I
suppose I could give it a go too . . .

As I say, I'll give it some thought. If I do,
you'll be the first to know.

Got punched. Two guys started following me near
the Calling and one of them demanded money.
I declined his polite request, and (to keep it
short) he punched me, I kicked him, and then I
legged it in the direction of a friendly-looking
police car. No lasting effects, apart from being
knackered after giving a statement until 4am.

Overall it's still been a good couple of weeks,
but there's not much else to talk about.
