I couldn't bear to write a schedule entry yesterday - basically because there was nothing in it and I seriously worried about not having a life. It might also have been something to do with listening to Muse, mind you, which is bound to bring me down.

But - just as me and Paul were sitting around worrying about not having anything to do on Friday night, one of our friends called and we invited him round. He is just back from Japan, but wasn't able to find any robotic jellyfish, in spite of carefully composing the correct Japanese phrase for "Do you have any robotic jellyfish please." This got him some odd looks before he could persuade them that that was what he really meant to say and wasn't just a phrasebook accident like "my hovercraft is full of eels".

It cheered me up getting a visitor, anyway, and today me and Paul are going to the ballet! We bought tickets for Romeo and Juliet on a whim, which is on its last night at the Festival Theatre.

So now I must cook dinner and dress up all posh - cos I have an excuse to wear my totally expensive velvet jacket. Hurrah!
