Am happier now. Here are some more good things.


  1. Unkle Nik lent me fifteen CDs of technoiresque gothic bleepiness
  2. I ate profiteroles without going over my calorie allowance.
  3. Did I mention that I now have a working CD writer?
  4. Six BiCon bookings today
  5. I too have an Evil Plan, but I'm not going to post it here, because that would be Really Dumb
  6. I look fantastic if I say so myself.

  8. A further half dozen BiCon bookings are said to be In The Post
  9. Ordered Lists
  10. Gratuitous Capitalisation

Magritte! That is Magritte, isn't it? I hope it is, as if it isn't, I've been going around saying I adore that picture by Magritte, and confusing lots of people.

Magritte, yes, it's what I consider to be the best version of L'empire des Lumières (he did several), and I have a small postcard of it by my desk.

In that case, Plaisir du Chocolat, at the Royal Mile (near Tribe / Pancho Villa's) is very good.
