Today we visited Vane Farm and Ravenscraig park in Kirkcaldy - selected cos it was marked by a giant blue bird on the map. We didn't see a giant blue bird but we did see loads of ducks from the shore, including long-tailed ducks which are a first for me.

Chaffinch, Green finch and Gold finch
Mistle thrush, Song thrush, Blackbird and Robin
Wren, Dunnock, Starling
Wood pigeon, feral pigeon
Carrion crow, Rook, Jackdaw and Magpie
Common, Herring and Black headed gulls
Oyster catchers, curlews, turnstones, lapwing, grey heron, moorhen
Mute swan, greylag geese, shag
Mallard, pochard, scaup, tufted duck, gooseander, eider, common scoter, Goldeneye, Long tailed duck
Buzzard, sparrowhark and peregrine
Which makes it my highest scoring day at 43, I think
And a seal and some squiggles.
