I think it's actually random- I just did it twice by accident with the same answers and got wind the first time and fire the second...

I checked a few times and it's not random - maybe you were just close to both options. If you do it as if you're an earthy, practical person, you get earth, and so on. I managed to get what I was aiming for for each one, by using my strology knowledge.
