As you may possibly have noticed I've been working on the Beltane Midwinter feast. And progress is good. We now have a price, most of a menu and some entertainment lined up, so it's time to start getting some paying punters. I have the meal vouchers for sale at the very reasonable price of £12 (£11 for vegatarians). The feast is at Old Saint Paul's Hall, 39 Jeffrey Street, Edinburgh on Thursday 21st from 7pm to 3am with food being served hopefully from 8pm. The menu so far is:

Starter - or possibly a choice of starters, we're not sure yet...
Home baked bread
Spit roast rare breed outdoor-reared pig with apple sauce
Spiced Pumpkin Casserole veggie option
Organic spuds baked in the fire
Various vegetables
Salad
Dessert of caramelised oranges with Grand Marnier and fudge cake
Plus a generous glass of mulled wine (non-alcoholic version available)[1]

The entertainment will include live singers and musicians, The Forest Choir, Winter Drummers, Beasties, something that may or may not be a Red Panto and others...

*in addition to your free glass you're welcome to bring your own bottles

Contact me if you want vouchers. Places are limited and it's first come, first served, so you will need to book in advance. I will be at the Hoose tonight, at least early on with any luck...

I'd love to come.

I'm not in Edinburgh until the 20th, but if I could sign up and send monies or something, let me know. I have paypal or cheque.

He'd be welcome as long as he's always in your care (this is just cos we have to sign the venue's child protection policy to say we're not caring for kids.) As to cost I'd say £8 - does that sound reasonable?
