Would this external DVD drive be a bad idea to buy for my Mac? - http://www.allcam.biz/products/usbdvd.html

In there any appreciable different between a USB2 card that costs £25 and one that costs £9? What?

What free as in beer software should I use for the MAc to make .zip files?

And is anyone going to KJ's tonight? Cos I think I am...

Re: USB2 It really depends on the manufacturer in the end, or it might be something as simple as having more sockets in the pci card.

Re: DVD I'm not sure if it will make a noticable difference in speed going over USB2
