There's that cool bit near Slateford where an aquaduct takes the canal goes over the Water of Leith and there's the railway there too and it's all groovy. Also, Saughton Park is nearby which is a nice place to stop for a rest. There is usually an ice-cream van there with nice ice-cream, but not last Sunday I was disapointed to find.
I used to know some good paths around Leith too - need to re-acquaint myself.
Do you know the Innocent Railway path? I think that's fun.
