I have booked for BiCon, which should be a laugh, and am also thinking of going to KnowledgeLab III: WHO CARES? in Lancaster from 30 June - 2 July. At one or both of these I am thinking of running a session about "Hacking your brain" or CBT for the mainly sane. (That probably sucks as a title, I have no idea what to call it.)

Does this strike people as a good idea? Would you attend? Will I be inundated with people who are too crazy for me to handle? Should I run some other topic that you'd be desperate to see? Or should I just shut up now?

And on the subject of BiCon: there are a lot of people I would like to catch up with, especially since I haven't been for a couple of years. So I wonder, first, whether they would like to catch up with me, and, secondly, if any of them will be around before or after and might be popping over to Edinburgh...

Well would you?

That's a good idea. I wish I hadn't already booked my plane tickets now..

A very good idea, and you should be ok at dealing with anyone 'too mad'... not that I can think of too many of them.

I would very definitely attend that workshop: please run it!

Our movements are limited by our tiny employee, but looking forward to seeing you at BiCon.

[livejournal.com profile] djm4 and I are passing through Edinburgh on our way to BiCon on the Thursday, sometime around 3ish (I think), if you want to join us on the final leg.

That would be cool. DO you know what train you're on?

We get into Edinburgh at 15:19 on the GNER train from King's Cross, and are then intending to catch the 15:30 First ScotRail service to Glasgow Queen Street. Obviously that's quite a tight connection - if the London train's more than a few minutes late then we won't make it, and will be getting a later train on the same route (they're every 15 minutes and they all stop at Haymarket which I believe is the closer station to where you're now living). However, we can text you on the day to let you know how we're doing.

It'd be great to meet up with you for that leg of the journey - I haven't seen you in far to long, and would love to catch up.

I would definitely be interested in attending a session on that subject. I'm pretty sure I'm not too crazy either.

I would definitely come to your CTB workshop - anything that gives me more power over altering my behaviour has to be a good thing! Unfortunately I'm not planning to come to Bicon... haven't been for a number of years now.
