I did have a great time at lilitufire's last night, even though I'm feeling slightly ropey today, which is easily explained by the copious amounts of wine I drank last night, including the Ume liqueur in the impressive bottle... And it was good to meet surliminal, who I feel I must have met before simply because we are slightly connected on so many different axes, but then LJ is like that, as is Edinburgh, SF fandom and the children's sector...

And I did spectacularly well out of the gift bonanza, to the extent of being rather embarrassed. Moooonstones! And a pewter mug for tonight's mulled cider, and a good quality sleeping bag, and a Gorgeous plum coloured coat in cashmere and angora which fits and is only about two foot too long! Yes, that's right, I now have a purple rabbit-wool coat... And then it showed - yay snow!

Oh, and randomredhead - you ought now to be able to see the post before this. Do come along and try on some boots!
