I forgot to put my skirt on before leaving for work today. This is OK because I have recently been wearing thin sweatpants under a skirt because of the cold, so now I feel slightly self-conscious since I *never* wear trousers, but am adequately covered by sweatpants. It doesn't say much for my state when I woke up, though.

I'm aware I haven't posted for a week, which is a bit odd for me. It's been a reasonable week, though.

I saw Nausicaa with Tef and Jon, saw season one of Spaced with Jon and last night saw Angel and Shameless and a strange cat called Zebedee with Alex (he was catsitting for some friends). I recommend Shameless, which may well be the cause of me getting to bed late on Tuesdays from now on.

I finished reading Miss Smilla's Feeling for Snow, which was not disappointing, and read two other new books (A Writer's Life by Eric Brown and The Masks of Time by Robert Silverberg). I am aiming to read even more new books this year than last year, but I will have to make a point of borrowing more as I have neither the money nor the shelf space to support the habit.

I dealt with new flatmate, landlords, bills, Tesco deliveries and other annoyances and booked my tickets to London.

I got my hair dyed and now it is proper red again.

I went to Vain with Pavlos, where the music was better than usual and I had a pleasant time, but left early due to feeling anti-social and a bit low. It was worth going, though, and I'm glad I didn't stress myself by dressing up too much. There was also a nice amount of physical affection, which is generally good.

I stuck to my diet and lost 6lb (most of it glycogen, I assume). This makes me happy.
