purplerabbits at 09:02pm on 01/01/2004Well 2003 is over, and I have unilaterally decided that 2004 doesn't actually start till Monday, thus giving me a few days to rest, do some stuff that needs doing, dwell on the past year, decide it's better not dwelt on, and make some plans for next year when Thing Will Be Better.
2003 kind of sucked. I mean, there were lots of bits I enjoyed, but in many ways it rivalled the Year from Hell (1999). I think I shall call it the Year from Limbo. I'm not going to summarise it in any kind of meme-like way: people who know me know the shit that happened.
And for next year (the one that doesn't start till Monday), I shall not have resolutions. Instead I shall have wishes, plans and lists of things to do. If I am really organised I shall remember to have them in that order, but I can't guarantee that.
