Happy new month everyone! I didn't go out tonight, because a) it is fucking minging out there and b) I was at a rather spiffing party in Gorebridge last night, involving drummers and sausages and fire and baked spuds and using shakers in anger and getting a go on the only bass drum present and staying outdoors for aages before crashing on a skinny futon in the bathroom with Jon. I slept OK, and in the morning there ware pancakes and porridge and sociability and a rather long bus ride back and absolutely no desire to go out. So we watched some of Angels in America which Sandy gave us for Xmas and got through midnight with Charlie Brooker and drank some of my classy tequila I got specially and now I am ready for bed. So there.

This year I decided not to drive myself too hard to read new books and let myself re-read some and also get out in the fresh air a bit. So, only 88 here instead of over 100...
