Things I have learnt today

  1. That I can get a good night's sleep with the aid of earplugs.

  2. That it is, however, hard to then hear the alarm in the morning.

  3. That Safeway's sushi is nicer than that of either Pret or Boots.

  4. That half price things in Monsoon are still twice as much as I'm prepared to pay.

  5. And that apparently it is possible to pay £59 for a pair of tights.
