I haven't seen The Matrix Revolutions yet

Oh for that exalted state of bliss.

Well that was sort of my thinking, but I imagine it might just be better than staying home and twiddling my thumbs, or isn't it?

You'll be putting your eyes out with those very thumbs if you at all desire internal consistency from cinema. Or dialogue. Or plot. Or more than one Matrix-fu fight. But otherwise, it's mediocre.

I liked Matrix Revolutions. It wasn't perfect, and I admit that I spent a fair amount of time admiring the nifty wirework and snazzy special effects rather than being engrossed in the story, but I thought it was a satisfactory and satisfying conclusion to the story.

If you are very desparate, I don't start work on Tuesday until 5pm and would be happy to go to the cinema/elsewhere if you like.

Ascension in on the 29th.

I think Mel and I are going to brave the Matrix 3 despite the reviews. We're going to the cinema in Ocean Terminal though as it has "Cheap Teusday^ Any Tuesday - Any Movie _ Any Time £3. :) Not sure what time we're going. I could let you know ?

Don't think I'd make it to Leith, but thanks for the offer. I may well make it to ascension this time.

you probably don't want to see 'matrix:revolutions'. it's one of those films that's so crap i wouldn't download it. i'd rather watch '2001' again, or even 'chairman mao: a ballet'. or poke my eyes out with a slotted spoon.

If you haven't seen Kill Bill it seems very much that you should put it ahead of MR in your viewing schedule. It is rather fine if very silly and substance-free.
