purplerabbits at 10:39am on 29/09/2003I woke up very confused from a dream which included an antarctic penguin flinging competition.
Meanwhile the entropy which was depressing me is being slowly driven back, and my mood is somewhat improved as a consequence. So far I can chalk up:
New Oven and hob from landlord installed.
Shower and bath tap fixed by landlord.
Replacement DVD player obtained under guarantee. The new ones seems fine after playing a series of Sapphire and Steel and the whole of Leon without a glitch.
Room tidied and hoovered.
Many clothes sold and posted off.
Virus removed from living room machine *crosses fingers*
Worked out a way to use my camera which will work at least until I can afford a new one and took new pictures of clothes which will go up shortly.
And most importantly council guys persuaded that we are not an HMO so we won't need hideous fire doors etc thank you very much.
OK, some of these things happened a while ago, but it's worth rehearsing the whole list for the maximum effect...
I will also apparently be getting a pendant light for my room on Friday to replace my crappy striplight, and the hall light is allegedly being fixed then, too. This would be A Good Thing, as fluorescent light is doing my head in.
