pushing a double bed

So I've booked a double room for Whitby, but I'm kind of hard up at the moment, and it seems like accommodation is at a premium. So I wondered if anyone who has booked a single room would like to swap. I still want to go to Whitby, but I don't want to take up and pay for a double room I don't need...
