BTW I'm most disappointed to see that explodingdog never used any of the title suggestions I sent them. They were things like "just read the instructions", "so much for subtlety", "i thought he was with you", "only slightly bent", "the anticipation of a new lover's arrival"

"the anticipation of a new lover's arrival" is an Iain M. Banks ship name, iirc. I think "just read the instructions" might be, too.

Nice list, but it's a bit outdated now, as it's missing Look to Windward. I wasn't very impressed with that one. Maybe we'll get a new Culture novel soon.
