I is for I. I am:
- I, and any pointlessly philosophical questions from implausibly ancient and powerful aliens will be met with similarly straightforward responses.
- Irish: I was not born in Ireland, my mother was not born in Ireland but both her parents were and she was brought up London Irish. I received a certain amount of anti-Irish abuse in my childhood, so it's an identity of sorts.
- Irritable: I like the fact that in biology irritable just means that I respond to stimulus. If you poke me do I not get irate?
- Intellectual: when my father was insane and shouted at me not to be such a bloody intellectual, I ran away from home, which was not the most intelligent response
- Idealogical: which means 'concerned with ideas. I like ideas cos I can think them with my brain.
- Introverted: it's fairly borderline, but I find it takes energy to be with people, and I need alone time to regain it
- Improving: I wish to do always better. This is not part of being hard on myself, but part of being human.
- Immanent: which is the opposite of transcendent. I do not wish to transcend the physical but to be fully in it. Mind you I also wih to be immortal. I don't find these positions contradictory
- Idealistic: see above :-) I tend to absolutist views which I need to curb if I am to be fully rational
- Islander: I like the fact that I am never a few hours from the sea
