Don't interrupt me as I struggle to complete this thought

I am feeling quite vulnerable at the moment, even though sensible measures have helped ensure I don't have full on BiCon comedown. Of course now is the time other people are getting Bicon comedown and hence sharing the less good things about their weekend. I cannot begrudge them the opportunity to do that, but the conjunction of the two facts is...unfortunate.

Also in amoungst this are things which it is worth saying so that future organisers do even better, and things that I would like to reply to because I'm not sure if they are fair criticisms. I am trying to ensure that I don't respond to anything yet because I need time to reflect and recover, but that doesn't mean I'm not prepared to listen.

Meanwhile I welcome validation and nice things. Next week is soon enough for difficult things.

*huggles*

I still think BiCon was wicked awesome & would like to shower you with praise :)

I'm glad sensible measures have helped so far & I hope that continues.

you do very much deserve validation and nice things. You ROCKED! at BiCon.

Good thoughts and hugs if you would like them

You did a fantastic, amazing job at BiCon, I was thoroughly impressed with it all. And I had a very very good time!

Last year I had David read out all the good BiCon stuff and not let me read any of the bad. Which worked very well. But also last year I was dealing with so much *after* BiCon that I switched off my BiCon button as soon as I walked in through the door when I got home on the monday.

Sometimes having abrain in which one can seperate things successfully is a good thing!

I memory all the BiCon writeups not on the BiCon LJ so that I can go back and be happy. This year's comments were all very positive - I haven't succeeded in memorying the later ones the comedown ones of doom.

I haven't been able to switch off as well this time, am not good at that in general. Today has been the hardest so far, probably cos I'm physically exhausted. I wish I'd gone away somewhere for a few days without net access a la 2003's trip to NL.

I have avoided too much of a comedown by cleverly managing to be ill - so most of my brain is focusing on that rather than anything else ;)

I think you did an amazing job with Bicon. It went remarkably smoothly (at least from where I was standing) and I was most impressed by the way the team handled everything. You deserve every bit of validation you receive! I also think you looked fantastic - but then, I have thought that for the past six years.

It was really good to spend a bit of chatting time with you at BiCon and hope to have more sometime.

It was really nice to meet you properly and I thought it all went swimmingly. The thing with the stars actually nearly made me cry, it was such a nice summing up of what I'd been feeling all weekend about participation.

Yes, that was really, really good.

Alison is a star, always has been, always will be.

You ran a fabulous BiCon. I second the showers of praise mentioned above!
