My day sucks, so you should entertain me unless you are actually stuck in a traffic jam behind a caravan of caravans.

I've been out picking berries.

3lb in about an hour to an hour & a half, in a rather over-picked hedgerow isn't too bad.

Now they soak in water for a little while to drown any inhabitants. Next, I boil up berries with lemon, cinnamon sticks, cloves & green cardamoms, before straining the juice from the seeds, adding liqueur & making my famous jelly.

Of course, the walking to & from the place I like to go picking has knackered my back, & I'm super-uncomfortable crammed into a long denim skirt held together with safety-pins & pulled up right under my bust, with a knotted-front shirt to match & long boots, seeing as I cannot fit into a single pair of trousers I own, & this is the most prickle-protective outfit I could get on!

So now I actually need to strip off, put on something floaty & slump on the furniture for a bit, which leads to me falling asleep! Sorry you are bored.
