Of course I can't do painting when there is no water. Grrr! Argh! Apparently Scottish Water are On It. Thank goodness for diet coek, which may give me enough energy to get out of the house in search of somewhere that isn't effected[1] in search of coffee. There was nothing in the kettle, of course :-(

Update: water seems to be back at reduced pressure, and just when I had my shoes on and was resigned to avoiding work for a bit. Feeling most discombobulated.

[1] Or affected, I can never tell the difference, it's one of my most annoying grammer blindspots...
