Here is a sunrise, aint that enough?

Back at work, and feeling somewhat frazzled. This is not helped by having started on Smilla's Feeling for Snow last night, but even if I hadn't had difficulty putting it down I would probably have found it hard to sleep since I've been waking up at after midday for a week. Today I crawled out of my pit at 7.30 after about five and a half hours sleep. Bleh. At the moment only iTunes and Diet Coke are making my life bearable.

... true as a clear sky, ain't that enough?

I don't go back to Aberdeen until Saturday (10th), but, perhaps oddly this is not good! I want to see my friends there again & get back in time for the next fetish night at Moshulu!
So, I guess starting back at work isn't always bad?..is it?

bizzarely, ive been yakking away to people all weekend about Miss Smilla's Feeling for snow, and have just been listenign to someone i persuaded to read it sound off about how dense and hard to get into it is. so: if you get bored with it then i can just tell you what happens at the end, ok?

Well I'm not bored yet and don't find it hard to get into. It is dense, but in a good way.

totally, my opinion too. just my friend keeps complaining about it! of course it helps if you like Smilla - I think shes fantastic, but he doesnt.
