So of the three 'resolutions' I made in January I have kept one - to keep my personal accounts, which are up to date and useful. I have been for walks, but nowhere near once a week, although i have managed to be out of the house and active at least that often, and I have clearly been crap at monthly state of the rabbits reports... On not beating myself up about this i am, however, doing great :-)
So, here are things which are good
Going to pottery and making things out of stuff - I've made it to every class, and been on time to all but one, which I was an hour late for and allowed myself a rare taxi to make the second half of. I also did a wee sewing machine class at Remade, and a drop in at pottery at Salisbury centre courtesy of Jenny so I could finish my terracotta work from last year. I have discovered many ways in which glazing can Not Work and a few in which it can. I also really enjoyed the 2 day silver working class, though Broughton High is a bit of a bugger for me to get too, You may have noticed some of my work from there in previous posts, even though I am quite reluctant to sell some of it I can't really keep it all.
Other stuff I've been doing is helping M with flat viewings (now nearly sold with many crossings of fingers) and volunteering in Shelter once or twice a week, which has been great, and between that and the crafts i have good reason to be out of the house twice a week.
I'm on diclofenac for the knee pain which is working tolerably well, and with new GP have found a sensible AD doseage. And it's loads lighter, so overall I feel mentally and physically OKish. I would probably say better than OK, except for the anxiety that it will all go tits up again - either that or the DWP will decide I am All Better and take away my money (not likely for a bit cross fingers)
I am also bravely working on a genuine job application, and shall be keeping an eye open for suitable things from now on. So if you here of any part time stuff that might suit me, do let me know. I'm probably looking at public or third sector stuff, and preferably nothing to do with children, but I'd consider other things so suggestions welcome.
