Passed on from Badgers...
We are sorry to announce that there will be no Solstice Feast this year.
Its gutting I know, but its not through lack of trying I can assure you. Any sensible venues (ie: within budget and getting-to distance)were booked up months ahead and we've waited as long as possible on the off chance somewhere comes up. Alas though, its not to be. Next year, we're booking a bloody hall in March!
However, in these short dark days, celebrate we must. So, you are all invited to the first:
YULE SOIREE
7.30-late Thursday the 20th December in Bristo Hall
(upstairs in the Forest Café)
Cost: donation at entry plus cost of cakes and drinks
A festive evening of live music, dancing, drumming, mulled wine (and not-wine) festive puddings (custard ahoy!), pies, cake, mistletoe induced kissing, aaaaand, ...for your delectation... the
PREMIERE SCREENING OF 2007 BELTANE VIDEO
So, dress in your festive best, sip a mug of mulled wine and re-live the beginning of summer as we celebrate the imminent return to longer days.
