purplerabbits: (Me here now)
So here's a political and ethical question. How bad would it be for me to pay someone to help me clean my house? Would it be better to do it as a spring clean and kid myself that I will be able to keep it nice if I get a kick start? And would anybody I know want to be paid to clean for me? Part of me says that employing a cleaner would make me intolerably privileged, whereas paying a mate would at least help the mate out, but would that be really patronising and maybe damage our friendship? Answers would be very welcome, cos I certainly have to do *something*...
