I have a cold and keep feeling giddy and headachy. In spite of this I have to be at work. Therefore I am inventing a meme where people can be nice to me. Feel free to copy it so people can be nice to you too.

Tell me one thing you really like about me.
Tell me one thing I should be proud of/pleased to have done.
Tell me something I'm right about.

Go one, I'm sticking my neck out here!

Good things

I feel much, much better now. People were very nice to me in my meme, which really helped. Also I have eaten and had a bath and put clean bedding on, and I don't feel giddy any more. My phone works now, too, and my floor is clear, and it's more than halfway through the week.

Also, some wonderful anonymous person has paid for me to go to the Spiritualized gig! Rar! Few things are calculated to cheer one up quite as much as anonymous money in the post box when you get in from work... I am still slightly amazed that people seem to like me this much, but I'm certainly not complaining - thank you, whoever you are.

OK, the Windows 2000 machine in my living room (don't all go ick at once), has an error message when it starts saying "svchost.exe has developed errors". It will run Mozilla OK and the printer works, which is all it's mostly used for, but Internet Explorer is (even more) fucked. I plugged the error into Google and got FAQs claiming I had the Blaster worm, but the Blaster removing tool I found said it wasn't there. So. What have I got, does anyone know how to remove it, and is there any way to stop it happening again? I suspect some kind of firewall may be in order...

I know I'm over using this icon, btw, but I love it, it reminds me of a giant furry rabbity space hopper. I want a chair shaped like that...
