I am feeling somewhat better, and the weather is cool and misty, which may well be related. Another thing that makes me feel better is that [livejournal.com profile] pavlos came around yesterday with a big beige box. It is big and heavy, and contains three scsi drives totaling 42Gig among other things, so it is also somewhat noisy, but since I don't plan to juggle with it or leave it on all night, these facts don't bother me. Pavlos is a wonderful and generous friend. And butch, since he carried the heavy beige box over from his flat in his arms...

Therefore tonight I need to buy a PS2 keyboard and maybe a mouse. And while I'm at it I should really get a memory card reader and some rechargeable batteries so I can take pictures on Saturday and upload them. And a DVD player and a video. Hmm. Only snag is that Maplin is in the exact opposite direction to Richer Sounds (oh, and that I don't technically have enough money).

In other news: my moods are all over the place, I want a mammoth, Jon's old room is finally painted and I was woken up by Rage against the Machine at full volume at 7am this morning. *YAWN*

Some things rock. These include:-
  1. Everyone who answered the call and put my paranoia to rest
  2. They Might Be Giants new Clock Radio (needs Flash). I have been listening to them all day, which may explain why I am still cheerful in spite of...
  3. ...Radiohead's new album Hail to the Thief. They seem to have stopped being crap. Hurrah!
  4. Going into Maplin with a basket and getting a keyboard, mouse, flash reader and batteries and then...
  5. ...making it over to Richer Sounds in time to buy the last cheap multi-region MP3 playing DVD player in the shop.
  6. Falling over with a low calorie iced desert.
Whiskers on kittens I can take or leave, really, though...
