I read less fiction than I used to (not sure why) but generally read the Murder Most Unladylike/Ministry of Unladylike Activity books as soon as they come out (and gift them to appropriately aged Smalls in my life) I’d be very up for chatting about them with another adult. I fell into a bit of a Detective Story hole in the summer and re-read all of the Lord Peter Whimsey novels (and the Jill Patton Walsh continuations, three of which were new to me) as well as re-reading MMU/MUA before the latest one came out.
(Other books I will read pretty much as soon as they come out are the Chronicles of St Mary’s/Time Police series, the Falco/Flavia Alba series and Morrigan Crow (although as the next book in that series has had its publication dates pushed back twice now it’s a bit of a waiting game)
