Job losses over eBay 'addiction'

Oh fucking cheers 'Union Bosses' for doing your best to spoil internet access at work for the rest of us! I always knew Unison were a shower of shitehawks but this takes the biscuit. When did it become a Union's job to tell employers not to trust employees. Yes of course if you spend two hours out of seven a day on Ebay you may lose your job. So don't do that then. Morons.

"We plan to push for the authority to make changes to its IT system, to help prevent workers landing themselves in hot water."

He called for internet access be limited to lunch break and that web access should be filtered at other times.

Wow. I'm not sure I can say anything more...

Morons.

One also assumes they were warned about internet fair usage and indeed given some kind of "hello you are using the net too much" warnings.

*stab*

I look forward to their campaign for employers to keep toilets locked in case workers are tempted to spend too much time there as well.

OTOH, warnings for people before they reach the point where they're actually going to get fired are . . . yes, yes, obviously the act of a complete fascist.
