The prize for being bird number 50 in my (mid)life list goes to... the Oystercatcher - congratulations! You win a mucky beach in Granton covered in rubbish and dead jellyfish. Huzzah!
Off to Arran tomorrow. Not packed yet as such. Have scalded my left wrist on hot oil in a way that makes it extremely inconvenient to pack, but what the heck - I'm sure I'll manage...
