Canal and campus allows views of swans, ducks,nesting herons, hunting kestrels, ickle baby rabbits (who are entirely used to humans and don't run away-no survival instincts there) swallows (they nest in some of the labs), swifts, housemartins, geese and other species I don't know the name of.
